Two men sit on roof of Jimny with dramatic clay cliffs behind them

Skinny Who?

Skinny Jim started with a father, a son and two Suzuki Jimnys. It’s all grown from there. Other than the Jimnys. They’re still small.

Like many, we reckon these lightweight 4x4s are the business. Especially when it comes to off-roading, camping, cruising, beaching, parking. Most things really.

The one thing the Jimny doesn’t like? Excess weight. That’s why we’re all about keeping things skinny – in weight, style and functionality.

Overload your favourite little wagon with heavyweight accessories, and you lose the magic. We learned this first-hand.

It’s what led us to making Jimny-specific gear. Hardware as light as it is tough, and as simple as the car itself. Like the Jimny, for the Jimny.

Rollin’ trim.

KEEPING JIMNYs
SKINNY

All our hardware is made in New Zealand, which we like.

We started with the roof racks and we’re working our way down from there – designing, making, and then often re-designing. It takes ages, but so far it’s been worth it.

Paul (left) with a lifetime of automotive tinkering under his belt, is all about the nuts and bolts. Tom (right) a seasoned road-tripper, would rather just get out there.

They’re both always keen to chat about your Jimny, their Jimny, Jimny ideas, Jimny adventures, Jimny misadventures. You get it!

Stay Skinny,
SJ
